Welcome to the Sun City Ukulele website! The Sun City Ukulele Club is dedicated to having fun! We meet every Thursday to sing and play a variety of songs. We welcome all RCSC card holders regardless of skill level and provide free lessons on the first and third Thursdays from October – March. We also have an acoustic jam group that meets the 1st/3rd Sundays 2:30-4:30pm at Fairway Recreation Center (October - May).

How can I join? Any Sun City resident RCSC card holder can join us at 3PM any Thursday at the Fairway Recreation (10600 W Peoria Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351) Center in the 2nd floor music room. Talk to the friendly people at the front desk and they can sign you up for our club.

NEWS FROM TRUDY

Hello Fellow Uker,

What fun it was to lead the jam last Thursday, with a lot of help from my friends. I am trying out some new songs that might be fun to perform at our November 28th and December 12th gigs. Let me know what you think.

Also, I neglected to thank Kristy Worden for the help she gave to Maxine the previous week. Max told me, “Kristy is my rock” as she is for many of us in this club. And, how fortunate we are that Kristy will be leading our jam this Thursday, June 11 from 3pm – 4pm.

Mark Your Calendar:

1. Saturday, November 28, 11am – 12pm – All Club Performance, Sundial Rec Center Atrium. We will entertain the shoppers at the Arts and Crafts Festival.
2. Saturday, December 12, 1pm-2pm, All Club Performance, All Saints of the Desert Episcopal Church. 9502 W. Hutton.
